NM Health Care Authority Now Accepting Applications for FY2026 GME Expansion Grant
The New Mexico Health Care Authority (HCA) invites eligible institutions and residency programs to apply for the FY2026 Primary Care Physician Training Expansion Grant. This funding supports the creation of new First-Year GME residency positions in primary care or psychiatry by establishing or expanding residency programs in New Mexico.

- Awards: Dependent on number of applications received, requested amounts, and the amount of funding available.
- Eligibility: Open to institutions, including hospitals and federally qualified health centers, interested in creating or expanding primary care or psychiatric GME programs.
