After participating in this session, attendees will be able to:
- Define public health and list its ten essential services.
- Describe the various components of the public health infrastructure of New Mexico.
- Identify several common theoretical frameworks in public health, including the social-ecological model, health belief model, and social cognitive theory.
- Apply the aforementioned frameworks to common primary care challenges in New Mexico.
