On October 26, come learn about the risks and benefits of using cannabis to treat chronic pain from Dr. Brant Hager of UNM. Attendees will gain an understanding of basic cannabinoid neurobiology pertaining to anti-nociception and the relative efficacies of cannabinoids, opioids, duloxetine, pregabalin, and NSAIDs in chronic pain, as well as the knowledge to engage in collaborative decision making with patients requesting diagnostic certification for medical cannabis.
