Happy Autumn! The New Mexico Primary Care Training Consortium recently held its first Summit in August 2015 and it was proven to be a success. Over 90 stakeholders consisting of state agencies, universities, hospitals and primary care providers came together over two days to discuss further development of residency programs in NM. Participants heard from experts on topics that included Accreditation and Residency Training; Community-Based Residency Education and Engagement; Residency Training and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs); and Medicaid Funding Support for Training.
