Primary Care Training in New Mexico: Statewide Summit

The purpose of the summit is to:

  • Discuss how community based primary care training is important to the future of  health care in NM;
  • Examine the Medicaid Funding option for residency training in NM;
  • Describe the components of graduate medical education from funding to training to accreditation;
  • Evaluate local communities for interest in and readiness to train family medicine residents.

  • Rooms are available at a discounted group rate at the Holiday Inn Express – Old Town, across the street from the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. When booking your room, mention that you will be attending the NM Primary Care Training Consortium meeting to receive the discounted rate.
  • Lunch on the 10th and breakfast on 11th are provided at no cost to attendees.
